OneLearn is based in the United States. Personal information — including data about students and parents in Japan — is stored and processed on servers located in the United States.

For school customers, we retain data for the duration of the active subscription or service agreement, plus a reasonable wind-down period (typically up to 90 days) to allow for data export and account closure. After that period, we delete or anonymize personal information unless we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no method of data transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
